A Revision Process The six screen grabs below show a couple of paragraphs at three different stages of the revision process.  The first is the least formal and was written as part of a conference presentation. The second is revised for a more formal printed setting (a book), and the third is a more polished version of  the second.  Between each version, you'll see a screen grab that shows the additions and deletions I've made.  (The version comparisons were made using an interesting online service called Writeboard.  The six images are big, so it may take a few moments for the page to fully load.)
